Overview
The European Doctor in Industrial Management (EDIM) is a four-year state-of-the-art doctoral research program for doctoral training addressing managerial issues of significance for the future competitiveness and sustainability of the industrial companies of Europe. The mission of the program is to generate cutting-edge knowledge at the intersection of engineering and management.

The EDIM-program will enroll 9 top-class international PhD-candidates who will work with coordinated set of research issues at the three partner universities. A significant feature of the program is the combination of international structure and international focus, together with its explicit approach on non-technical managerial issues, deeply embedded in the context of technology, engineering, and industry. Our ambition is to produce doctors with a new European profile reflecting a wide scientific and international breadth in engineering and management.

150 CUD Scholarships for Developing Countries at University Commission for Development (CUD)

Overview
The University Commission for Development (CUD) or (CIUF) is responsible for the implementation of the policy of university cooperation for development. Within the programme for international courses and training programmes, CIUF grants 150 scholarships for participation into the courses and 70 for participation into the training programmes.

From the academic year 2012-2013 on, up to 150 scholarships are available from the Belgian CUD (Commission Universitaire pour le Dveloppement) to students or applicants coming from developing countries for Master`s degree and internship/training programmes in Belgium. This scholarship covers the tuition fees, living expenses, return tickets and a few additional costs.

2012 Study of the United States Institutes for Students Leaders

Overview
The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, is pleased to announce that recruitment is opened for candidates for the FY-2012 Study of the United States for Student Leaders interested in the topic of Global Environmental Issues. The program will take place over the course of five weeks in July and August, 2012, for a group of students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos and Vietnam.

The Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders are intensive academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The institute will consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations and lectures. The coursework and classroom activities will be complemented by educational travel to other parts of the United States, local site visits, and volunteer opportunities. The institute will include an academic residency component of approximately four weeks and a domestic travel component of approximately one week that will conclude with a 2-3 day program in Washington, D.C.
