Overview
Each year, the Biodesign Program has two U.S.-based fellowship teams of four fellows working within a specific clinical area. Focus areas in the past have included Cardiovascular Medicine, Neurosurgery/ Neurology, Electrophysiology, Musculoskeletal, Regenerative Medicine, Anesthesia/Critical Care, Gastroenterology and General Surgery.

Team Based: Multidisciplinary teams of four graduate and/or postgraduate engineers, business professionals, bioscientists and physicians collaborate in a process involving clinical immersion, identification and verification of clinical problems, invention, prototyping, early-stage testing, and project planning.

The Universität Bern offers six Master Grants for the academic year 2012/13 for excellent international students. The grant consists of 1`600 CHF per month for the duration of the Master`s programme (standard period of study). Application files will be examined by a selection committee. Criteria for selection are academic excellence and the candidate`s potential and motivation.

30 scholarships of AUD$10,000 each, available as a one-off award (total value AUD$10,000) for any Postgraduate Coursework program offered at the University of Sydney.

No living allowance is payable.

Criteria for Eligibility
Applicants must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree qualification with a minimum high distinction average as based on the Australian grading system. Students who have already commenced postgraduate studies, or students transferring from other postgraduate programs are not eligible.

Overview
The Centre for Pesticide Application and Safety (CPAS) is a national scientific research and training group located within the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences at The University of Queensland, Gatton campus near Brisbane. It has been working for many years on pesticide exposure research and training, both within Australia and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for a science/engineering graduate to undertake research in a world leading organisation.

The role
We are seeking PhD or MPhil candidate to join a multi-disciplinary team as part of an Australian Grain Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) project titled `Core DRT (Drift Reducing Technologies) Database to Support the Ground Application of Pesticides (boom sprayer), accommodating Nozzles, Formulations and Adjuvants` This research will be conducted in the pesticide wind tunnel research complex at the Gatton Campus of The University of Queensland.
