Currently we have 1 vacant position in our EHS department in the Jakarta office as an EHS Specialist.
The EHS Specialist shall be accountable for the following but not limited to: - Coaching and Mentoring of Hess employees to assure 1st quartile performance in particular GDC EHS Rig Specialists and Drilling Supervisors
- Develop, implement & maintain all relevant EHS management processes for the GDC Department, including definition of relevant KPI's, quality and performance standards
- Facilitating and monitoring development, maintenance and (re-) certification of EHS competence of GDC staff, particularly for EHS critical tasks and responsibilities
- Leading and /or participating in investigation of complex and /or high potential incidents and serious accidents
- Quality control, analysis and tracking of follow-up actions and close-out status of all departmental incident reports
- Review and revision of EHS management systems, safety cases, Emergency Response Plans, bridging and interface documentation
- Ensuring compliance to Legislations and Industry Standard Practices
- Development and maintenance of departmental Emergency Response capabilities and readiness Requirement:
- Degree in any related disciplines from reputable institutions with minimum of 10 years experience in EHS
- Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EHS Documentation Bridging Documents, Emergency Response Plan, Oil Spill Response Plan, Environmental Plan etc.
- Delivery-focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion. Self-motivated person with an enthusiastic, methodical and diligent approach
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible, potentially working many concurrent tasks through obstacles to a successful conclusion
- A flexibility and willingness to over time in support of project activity where required
- Team worker with excellent customer focus

- Prepare the monthly tax return for :
o Value Added Tax & follow up the VAT refund process.
o Withholding Tax Article 21/26; 22; 23/26; and 25
- Prepare reconciliation/equalisation of income
- Checking and validating the supplier’s tax invoices to ensure that it comply with the finance procedure & policy, legal and local tax regulation
- Prepare monthly calculation of fiscal fixed asset depreciation & amortizations.
- Provide data monthly expatriate's utilities/allowance for calculation art 21/26.
- Prepare calculation of monthly/quarterly /annually corporate income tax and deferred income tax.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliation for tax related accounts.
- Maintain the compliance through continuously update to the new tax rules & regulations.
- Handle query from third party related to tax and discuss with Finance Manager (including assisting in transfer pricing studies).
- Follow up the tax audit (if any).
- To assure tax reporting number and general ledger accounts tie up, participate in monthly accounting cycle, monthly account closing Qualifications
- Male or Female, max. 35 years old
- Hold Bachelor Degree (S1) in Accounting from reputable university, with GPA min 3.00
- Holding brevet certificates A,B,C more preferable
- Proficiency in the preparation of corporate tax returns
- Minimal 3 years experience as a tax accountant/consultant
- Knowledgeable user in e-SPT and Microsoft Office is highly desirable
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
