Overview

Saint Mary`s College is one of the oldest four-year women`s colleges in the United States, having been founded by the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1844. With a population of about 1600, Saint Mary`s has long been recognized for its exceptional academic programs and for preparing graduates to make a difference in the world.

Saint Mary`s 98-acre campus is located just across the street from the University of Notre Dame, just minutes north of the city of South Bend (population 150,000), and only 1 ½ hours east of Chicago (population 14 million). A number of Oxford colleges offer Reach Oxford scholarships (formerly Oxford Student Scholarships) to students from developing countries who, for political or financial reasons, or because suitable educational facilities do not exist, cannot study for a degree in their own countries.

The Hydrogen Storage Research Group (HSRG) Honours Scholarship

Overview

The Hydrogen Storage Research Group (HSRG) Honours Scholarship is available to a student who is interested in pursuing a career in renewable energies studies with particular emphasis on hydrogen storage research. The student will have demonstrated a high-level of academic achievement in their undergraduate tertiary studies.

WHAT THIS SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDES

The Scholarship will include a $5,000 cash payment for one year to assist with costs associated with studying (textbooks, incidental expenses etc) and living costs for the normal expected duration of the honours degree for which the scholarship is offered. The University reserves the right to reduce the amount of assistance where applicants are in receipt of other Scholarships.
