INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM FOR FOREIGN GRADUATE STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS

Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University offers International Graduate Program in English for foreign students. For September 2011 intake, we will allocate approximately 15 scholarships for Doctoral and Master candidates in total.

Detailed eligibility is listed as follows: Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for 9 Doctoral and Master candidates entering in September 2011 (MEXT stands for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology).

Global Scholarships at University of Lund

Overview The Lund University Global Scholarship programme is targeted at top academic students from countries outside the European Uni0n/European Economic Area (and Switzerland). Scholarships cover 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fees. The scholarship value is deducted from the tuition fees of the programme or free-standing course for which you are awarded a scholarship. Please note that the Lund University Global Scholarships do not cover living costs.

Who is eligible?
Students who have applied for Bachelor`s or Master`s level studies at Lund University for a minimum of one semester of study (the equivalent of 30 ECTS full-time study) and who are required to pay tuition fees.

Biology has developed into a quantitative, information-driven science. We are seeking fellows in the new Research Training Group Computational Systems Biology (CSB) which focuses on the system-level understanding of biological data using computational methods. CSB is embedded in the thriving Berlin life-science environment and involves high-ranking research institutions such as Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Charit-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics and Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin-Buch.
