Rotary Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives, in their careers, and through service activities. Fellows earn a master`s degree in international relations, sustainable development, peace studies, conflict resolution, or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies.

The Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution program supports the mission of The Rotary Foundation to further world understanding and peace.

Overview
VU University Amsterdam provides a small number of scholarships for exceptional international students from all countries of the world through the VU Fellowship Programme. The most important selection criteria are academic excellence and motivation. We offer three types of scholarship:
  • € 20.000: A nearly full scholarship covering tuition fee, accommodation, visa costs and part of the living expenses for Non-EER students
  • € 10.000: A scholarship covering a major part of the tuition fees for non-EER students, or a nearly full scholarship for EER students
  • € 5.000: A scholarship covering accommodation expenses for one year

PhD programs at Hannover Biomedical Research School

Overview
HBRS is an interdisciplinary graduate school for physicians and life scientists (engineers, veterinary scientists etc).

On October 13th 2006, HBRS was awarded the title "excellent graduate school". HBRS will now receive 1 Million Euro/year for 5 years from the German government in course of the German "Excellence Initiative". These funds will be spent on coordination, stipends, training etc.

HBRS was founded in October 2003. Under its roof all graduate programs (see left) of Hannover Medical School and partner institutes are coordinated. We were one of the first to award PhD degrees in Germany.
