Hold min. S1 degree in Law from reputable University, GPA min. 2.75 of 4.00

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
U.S. Embassy, Jakarta has a vacancy for Administrative Assistant, FSN-7* (Rp. 91,768,705 p.a. Full Performance Starting Salary) in the Public Affairs Section (PAS). The incumbent serves as the administrative and personal assistant to two Assistant Information Officers (AI0) for Print and Broadcast programs. AIO’s are responsible for the management of all press, broadcasting and social media programming. The incumbent provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support for the Information Section of PAS. S/He also serves as backup to the Information Officer’s secretary as well as backup to the Media Clerk.

Qualification required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in administrative or related field’s required.
2. At least 2 (two) years of progressively responsible administrative experience is required.
3. Level IV (fluent) in speaking/ reading/ writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required. Must be able to draft correspondence in English and Indonesian.
4. Must demonstrate proficiency in using the internet and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Must have knowledge of basic IT network operations to ensure efficiency and compatibility of information flow, desktop design and others. Must be able to maintain complex paper and electronic files.
5. Must know names, relationship, acronyms, and organization of both government and press personalities and government officials in Indonesia and the U.S. Must have the capability to maintain contact with mid-level contacts and vendors; must possess organizational and interpersonal skills and able to take initiative and work.
6. Must be thoroughly familiar with office procedures and formats of various types of correspondence, a fast and accurate typist, familiar with electronic communications and able to adapt form letters with appropriate changes; must have numerical and accounting skills to formulate budgets.
