Tenure: Two years, with a potential extension of additional one year

Employment conditions:
The Department of Proteomics at the NNF Center for Protein Research is offering three postdoctoral positions in the group "Proteomics Technology Development & Application". Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Government and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The position will be at the level of postdoc, and will be placed in salary group 6 or 8 according to previous work experience. Postdoc in Ultrafast dynamics in quantum dot waveguides at DTU Fotonik

Overview
The Nanophotonics Theory & Signal Processing group seeks a postdoctoral candidate to work on the experimental characterisation of pulse propagation and ultrafast dynamics in photonic crystal and quantum dot semiconductor waveguides.

The position is part of a large research project (QUEST) financed by the Danish Research Councils, which explores the possibilities of quantum dot technology in combination with slow light effects to enhance the properties of opto-electronic devices or realize novel functionalities. The project comprises modelling, fabrication in DTU`s clean room Danchip and experimental characterisation. The successful candidate will thus work closely together with theoreticians and fabrication experts to explore the physics of these structures as well as their application potential.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Non-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics at University of Reading

Overview
We offer a 3-year post-doctoral position in Non-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics within the interdisciplinary group led by Dr. Lucarini. The position is funded through the EU-ERC project NAMASTE.

The research will focus on the analysis of the statistical mechanical properties of the climate systems using theoretical tools and models of various degrees of complexity. Attention will be devoted to the rigorous analysis of the response of the system to perturbations. The impact of stochastic forcings will also be addressed.
