IDSS and Euroconsult Mott MacDonald, managing the Australian Government funded Indonesia Australia Forest Carbon Partnership (IAFCP) Facility based in Jakarta, seek a highly qualified Indonesian national candidate for the position of Peatland Rehabilitation Field Coordinator based in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, as a member of the senior management team of the Kalimantan Forests and Climate Partnership (KFCP). This Peatland Rehabilitation Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the field work undertaken by implementing partners (villages, local government) and other team members, consultants, and contractors involved in canal blocking and reforestation in the KFCP site, which is within the Ex-PLG area in Central Kalimantan.

The field work will be undertaken according to the strategic rehabilitation plan, village and local government plans, and canal blocking specifications in accordance with the KFCP design, while ensuring that it meets AusAID’s, and GOI’s principles, policies, and requirements for a well- implemented development activity. This position is based in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, with frequent travel to remote field locations in peat swamp forest and degraded peatlands.

The Peatland Rehabilitation Manager should hold an advanced degree in natural resource management, environmental engineering, or a related field. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in relevant work, including practical field experience as well as experience in managing large-scale, field based activities such as reforestation and canal blocking in degraded peatlands. It is important to demonstrate an ability to work in collaboration with local communities and local government and to possess a blend of managerial, communications, and facilitation skills, including excellent English and Indonesian language skills, both spoken and written. Applicants must have the physical stamina to work in challenging and often difficult field conditions. Prior experience in Central Kalimantan or a similar environment is an advantage, and a thoroughly professional approach is essential.

1. Product Engineer
Your functions:
- Introduction of new product and process.
- Provide technical guidance to the production team for improving process quality and yield.

- Lead cost reduction projects related with material,labour and cycle times.

Your profile:
- Degree in Mechanical /electrical/electronic engineering.

- Able to work with AutoCAD.

2.Product Development Engineer
Your functions:
- Develop temperature sensor system based on semi conducting ceramic for automobile home appliance and heating industry
- Define materials, process technology, plastic processing and joining technique
- Handling of project (project planning, customer specification, technical documentation, test qualification program and statistical analysis)
Your Profile:
- Degree in plastic engineering or electrical engineering majoring in control
- 1-2 years working experience in similar application in electronics component industry
- Good knowledge in the use of automotive core tools (FMEA,APQP,PPAP, SPC)
- Good knowledge of the material science metal and plastic
