Grade 7: Salary £28,983 - £35,646 p.a.
Project: Power Structuralism in Ancient Ontologies.

Applications are invited for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Ancient Philosophy, to work on a project entitled Power Structuralism in Ancient Ontologies, which is hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy, and supported by the European Research Council. The postholder will be located in the Faculty of Philosophy, and will work under the guidance of the Director of the project, Dr Anna Marmodoro. The Fellowship is for the period of 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2013, and is not renewable.

Double Degree Master in Agricultural Water Management at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)

Overview
The Agricultural Water Management for Enhanced Land and Water Productivity programme is jointly offered by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (UNESCO-IHE). The programme is a double degree programme.

Duration: 20 Months
Locations: AIT, Bangkok , Thailand and UNESCO-IHE, Delft , the Netherlands

Degree: Students who successfully complete this programme will be awarded two Master degrees: one from UNESCO-IHE and one from AIT. The degree students receive from UNESCO-IHE is the MSc degree in Water Science and Engineering, with a specialisation in Hydraulic Engineering - Agricultural Water Management for Enhanced Land and Water Productivity. AIT will award a degree in Water Engineering and Management.

Master Scholarship in Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering COSSE, Erasmus Mundus, Europe.

The Erasmus Mundus programme “Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering” (COSSE) is a joint initiative of four European universities:

  • KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden
  • Technical University of Berlin, Germany
  • Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands
  • Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen – Nürnberg, Germany
COSSE is a two-year master`s programme offering a double degree from two universities. The students enter one of the universities and continue the second year at one of the other institutions in another country. COSSE offers education of the highest international standard as well as a unique experience of meeting different European cultures, languages, climate and nature.
