Overview
East-West Center in Washington

The East-West Center in Washington (EWCW) is accepting applications from scholars and analysts who wish to undertake policy-relevant research and writing in one of the following areas: 1. International relations of Southeast Asia; 2. Political change in Southeast Asia; and 3. ASEAN integration and community-building efforts.

The fellowship finances a three-month residence at the East-West Center in Washington, D.C. While in residence in Washington the fellows will complete an article or monograph to be considered for publication in a peer-reviewed publication, such as the East-West Center`s Asia Pacific Bulletin series or Asia Pacific Issues series. The first full draft of the manuscript should be completed before the end of the residency period. Fellows will also give a public presentation on their topic.

The Wellcome Trust PhD Programme for Clinicians aims to provide structured research training in basic laboratory sciences for young clinicians aspiring to a career in academic medicine.
Applications for entry in September 2011 are now open

The University of Dundee is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for life sciences research. The Wellcome Trust has funded an exciting scheme to provide training opportunities in basic science to young clinicians. The aim of the programme is to nurture and develop the talents of the brightest junior doctors for academic medical research. The programme is located in the College of Life Sciences and the College of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.

Since the beginning of the programme in September 2008, fourteen clinical research fellows have been appointed.

The Catalan Institute of Paleontology (ICP) offers a PhD Fellowship to develop research on the Paleobiology Area, more precisely on Vertebrate bone histology.
