PhD Fellowship in HSC and Cancer Stem Cell Niche at Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics

Overview

Helmholtz Center Munich/Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics
The group of Matthias Kieslinger at the Helmholtz Center Munich (Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics) has identified Ebf proteins in the support of haematopoietic stem cells (Kieslinger et al., 2010). We use novel techniques in mouse genetics to further examine the role of these proteins. (For more information visit: www.helmholtz-muenchen.de/kmolbi/kieslinger/).

We want to strengthen our team regarding the role of Ebf proteins in the support of normal and malignant stem cells and are looking for a PhD Student.
