Overview
Erasmus Mundus EXPERTS is a scholarship project targeted to citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

In accordance with the EMA2 call, the objective of the EXPERTS project is to facilitate collaborations between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from South and Southeast Asia (SSEA) and EU through the exchange of information in science and policy issues while sharing key issues of sustainable development in academic cooperation.

The project provides the following mobility scholarships from South and South-East Asia to European partner universities (Please note- there are no scholarships from EU to SSEA)

Overview
The School of Journalism, Media and Communication wishes to appoint two studentships for MA (by Research). The studentships are tenable for up to 1 year [subject to satisfactory progress]. The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees for UK/EU residents. The successful applicants will start on 1 January 2012. International applicants may apply but will be expected to pay the difference between the UK/EU and International Fee Rate.

Research Fellowship Program for International Student

Overview
Travel and research grants in the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities (*) will be awarded to highly qualified PhD students and young post-doctoral researchers to perform part of their research in Turkey.

ELIGIBILITY
  1. Be a non-Turkish citizen (people who have dual citizenship are not eligible)
  2. Be accepted by one of the universities or research institutes in Turkey
  3. Certify that he/she has sufficient command of language in which the research will be pursued
  4. For PhD students:.be enrolled in a PhD programme abroad
  5. For post-doctoral researchers: be at the age of 35 or under the age of 35
  6. PhD degree with GPA minimum 3.50/4.00 for post-doctoral researchers who got their PhD degrees from Turkish universities
