Overview
The Department of Linguistics at Queen Mary, University of London (School of Languages, Linguistics and Film) has one AHRC Doctoral Studentship to award to a student embarking on a PhD in the department starting in September 2011. The award comprises three years` full-time fees and maintenance.

Interested applicants should submit their applications for doctoral study to QMUL by 31 January 2011. Applications received after this deadline will still be considered for acceptance to the programme but will be ineligible for AHRC funding.

The Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York has an AHRC Doctoral Studentship in any area of Linguistics and a Teaching Studentship in either Phonetics or Language Variation and Change to award to students entering the PhD programme in September 2011.

Applications for the AHRC Doctoral Studentship must be received by 2 March 2011. Applications for the Teaching Studentship must be received by 30 April 2011. We also have a Master`s scholarship for the new MA in Phonological Development in Childhood to offer for study beginning September 2011. Scholarship applications must be received by 30 April 2011.

International Scholarship Programme 2011-2012

The International Scholarship Programme of the ENS Cachan is open to foreign students performing or who have studied and obtained their last degree abroad. The amount of the grant is 1000 euros per month and duration of stay is 6 to 12 months. The selection procedure comprises two stages: "pre-selection" and "final selection". To participate, you must first apply online. Before you begin, please read very carefully Rules of the International Scholarship Programme.
