Postdoc in communication systems with application to traffic safety at Chalmers University of Technology
Chalmers strategy for excellence in research, education and innovation is structured in eight Areas of Advance. Transport is one of these areas with Traffic Safety as one of three profiles. Chalmers has a long history in Traffic Safety research with extensive collaboration with industry and society. SAFER – Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre is the hub and physical meeting place for this collaborative, multi-disciplinary research and innovation.
The vision for the Transport area of advance is to become one of the world´s leading universities regarding green, safe, efficient and effective future transport systems. In line with this we are now opening for post-doc positions in the area of Traffic Safety. Four of the post-docs are placed in the Department of Signals and Systems, and they are placed in the following research groups: Communication Systems, Mechatronics, Signal Processing, and Biomedical Signals and Systems (see also the position 2010/334, 335, 336, and this text concerns the position in the Communication Systems research group.
PhD Scholarship in Theoretical Physics, Computational Biology at Lund University
The student will work in the area of dynamical modelling of gene networks, hormone signalling and cellular growth with focus on plant stem cells. The computational tools and programs to be developed may also be applied to stem cell regulation in animals and other biological systems. The work will be done within interdisciplinary collaborations with experimental biologists.
Postdoc in Assay and Technology Development for Affinity Proteomics at KTH Royal Istitute of Technology
KTH is the largest technical university in Sweden. Education and research cover a broad spectrum within natural sciences and engineering, as well as architecture, industrial engineering and management, urban planning, work science and environmental engineering. KTH has 13 344 full-time equivalent students, of whom 6 955 are at Bachelor (first) level, while 5 545 are at Master (second) level. In addition, 1 314 are full-time equivalent students at doctoral studies (third) level and 3 900 employees.
The School of Biotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology offers a curriculum that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of Biotechnology, integrating theoretical and applied science in undergraduate and graduate courses. The school has nine departments with about 220 employees, all located at AlbaNova University Center. The biotechnology research within the school is internationally well recognized.
