Postdoc in communication systems with application to traffic safety at Chalmers University of Technology

Overview
Chalmers strategy for excellence in research, education and innovation is structured in eight Areas of Advance. Transport is one of these areas with Traffic Safety as one of three profiles. Chalmers has a long history in Traffic Safety research with extensive collaboration with industry and society. SAFER – Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre is the hub and physical meeting place for this collaborative, multi-disciplinary research and innovation.

The vision for the Transport area of advance is to become one of the world´s leading universities regarding green, safe, efficient and effective future transport systems. In line with this we are now opening for post-doc positions in the area of Traffic Safety. Four of the post-docs are placed in the Department of Signals and Systems, and they are placed in the following research groups: Communication Systems, Mechatronics, Signal Processing, and Biomedical Signals and Systems (see also the position 2010/334, 335, 336, and this text concerns the position in the Communication Systems research group.
